QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s Degree in Education or related fieldNew York State Certification in School Administration • At least three years professional experience in special education or administration. CSE Chair and Special Education program development experience preferred RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordination of all aspects of special educationManagement of State reporting and 611/619 grants.Chairperson of CPSE and CSE MeetingsOversee special education teachers, school psychologists, social workers, related service providers including speech and language, occupational and physical therapy.Provide oversight of Pupil Personnel related grants and coordination with outside agencies to secure support for students.Organization of Professional Development for the divisionEvaluation of staff (APPR and other)Serve in support of the special education students and teamComply with and administer the appropriate laws, regulations, policies and procedures affecting Special Education for the RCSD.Other duties as assigned
