RCS is looking for a long-term substitute Elementary Teacher to fill a 12-week position starting on or about 10/7/24. This position will be located at our A. W. Becker Elementary School. The successful candidate should be passionate about teaching and learning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated to helping all students succeed. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in “school community,” and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded.Qualified applicants must have NYS Childhood Education 1-6 certification. Preferred candidates will have dual certification in Literacy and/or SWD 1-6. Candidates currently pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.
