RCS is looking for a probationary Elementary Special Education Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated to providing specially designed instruction to meet the needs of all students. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in the school community, and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded. Successful candidates should be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families to help students reach high levels of success. Candidates must be able to adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, and math, and social studies.Proper NYS Students with Disabilities 1-6 required. Preferred applicants will have dual certification in Literacy and Childhood Education 1-6.
