RCS is looking for a full-time probationary High School Spanish teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated to helping all students succeed. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in the school community, and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded. Proper NYS Spanish 7-12 certification required. Candidate will be expected to:Teach High School SpanishEstablish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly classroom environmentEngage students in the learning process and excite them about college and career possibilitiesProvide both academic and behavioral support using a multi-tiered approach (ie. RtI, PBIS) Communicate with families, other school staff, school administration, and students on student progressCreate pathways for students to be career and community aware; promoting a strong sense of civic mindedness. Utilize Google classroom.
