JOB DESCRIPTION: (Partial) a. Attends all interactive video classes and sets classroom expectation with students. b. Communicate and reiterate instructor expectations and acts as the liaison between the professor and student for notes and assignments. c. Distribute learning materials received from the instructor. d. Communicate with the instructor before students are in seats and notify instructors when students are struggling with class work. e. Run the technology located in the distance learning labs located in the component district. f. Take attendance and give students missed work and oversees and meets with students in the online (asynchronous) college courses. g. Stores, keeps inventory, and distributes textbooks and navigates the Blackboard/Brightspace learning management system. h. Facilitates the home district role if the district chooses to participate in on-campus open house experiences and/or excursions coordinated by the distance learning program. i. Oversees, monitors, and manages the students assigned to HS Credit Recovery and APEX. j. Promote student success by monitoring assignment completion, encouraging students to ask questions and participate in video interactive classes as well as virtual environments, and communicate high expectations to students.k. Teaches 2 sections of AIS Social Studies and 1 section of advisory/WINQUALIFICATIONS: a. Attend professional development meetings virtually and if applicable in person with the Distance Learning Program. b. Monitor student progress during classes. c. Communicate with instructors, students, and distance learning coordinator/specialist. d. Run the technology for classes. e. Assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school district. f.
