Starting 9/3/24 - Questar III BOCES has a full-time position for a Building Trades Teacher located at our Kline Technical School in Hudson, NY. The Building Trades program prepares students for the workplace with an emphasis on construction-related fields. Projects utilize the same techniques used in the construction. This program provides students with the skills, confidence and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in any career, but particularly prepares students for entry-level positions in the construction, facilities maintenance, and the custodial fields. Students in the program will complete projects that are work-based in nature, involve problem-solving skills, utilize hands-on activities, and benefit the school and local communities. Candidates with work experience in construction and/or building trades are encouraged to apply. Candidates must possess or be willing to pursue a NYS teaching certification through the Transitional Certification process in Construction Industry & Building Maintenance Operations.
