Beginning 9/1/24 - Questar III BOCES is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with high school students at the Questar III and HVCC STEM High School. This teacher will monitor goals in IEP’s and 504’s, communicate with component districts, provide resource room support and push in to classes to provide teaching services as needed. The Special Education teacher will support a collaborative project based environment to ensure all students find success.This school is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills. Innovative teachers who enjoy working in a team environment are ideal candidates. NYS certification in Secondary Special Education required (candidates willing to pursue secondary special education certification are encouraged to apply).
