Beginning September 2023 - Tech Valley High School (TVHS), an innovative regional public high school based on strong curricular partnerships with business, labor, government, higher education, is currently seeking a full time Teaching Assistant. The school, a partnership between Questar III and Capital Region BOCES, is located on the campus of SUNY Polytechnic Institute– College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering and provides a unique and innovative student-centered educational opportunity engaging students in emerging technologies. Project based learning (PBL) is the central educational approach to all teaching and learning at the school. Candidates for the position should be passionate and motivated to support students and teachers, able to foster learning in a small, public high school focusing on 21st century learning; willing to collaborate with school colleagues and participate in a professional culture dedicated to serving as a model for the region.This is a 10 month school year position, certification as a Teaching Assistant or ability to be certified is required.
