Beginning 9/1/23 - Questar III BOCES is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) probationary tenure track Physical Education Teacher at the Questar III and HVCC STEM High School, located on HVCC campus. This position will work closely with the athletic department at HVCC to access all the facilities and plan units of study. This position will be responsible for providing physical education classes for 9th-11th grade students enrolled in this program and may also include teaching at least one health class per semester. STEM HS will be in its third year and serves high school students throughout the capital region. Students earn their high school diploma while also working toward earning their Associates degree in a STEM field from HVCC. STEM HS is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills. NYS teaching certification in secondary physical education required.
