Questar III BOCES is searching for a dynamic leader for a probationary Career and Technical Education (CTE) Principal located at our Columbia Greene Education Center in Hudson, NY. Questar III provides a comprehensive array of CTE services for students in Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene County schools. Questar III’s Career and Technical Education programs provide students in 11th and 12th grades with the academic and technical skills necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. Career Tech programs offer students advanced, hands-on training in a variety of career fields. Automotive Technologies, Building Trades, Intro to Employment, Heavy Equipment Operation & Maintenance, HVAC/R & Green Technologies, Nursing Assistant, Construction Technologies, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, and Culinary Arts are some examples of the programs offered through our CTE program. These programs progress through curriculum quickly and prepare students for in-demand, 21st century careers. The position requires NYS administrative certification (SBL).
