Speech Therapist(s)Anticipated Position(s)2026-2027 School Year??At Putnam Valley Central School District , we are seeking highly skilled, innovative, and insightful Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) who are dedicated to supporting the communication and learning needs of all students. The SLP role at Putnam Valley Schools is essential to our academic community and requires a caring professional who can collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and staff to promote student success. At Putnam Valley, we view speech and language services as an integral part of our whole-child approach, and the SLP as a vital member of our multidisciplinary instructional team.Responsibilities:Delivery of mandated individual and group speech/language services to students in grades K-12. Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of developmental language and learning needs as well as appropriate interventions and strategies for students with a range of disabilities; and must possess highly effective delivery of mandated individual and group speech-language services.Qualifications:Appropriate New York State Speech certification required.Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH), and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working with AAC devices is also preferred.Salary:Salary is as per the Putnam Valley Federation of Teachers (PVFT) collective bargaining agreement.
