World Language Spanish TeacherAnticipated 5 Month Leave Replacement PositionOctober 13, 2025 through April 1, 2026The Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated 5-month leave replacement Spanish teacher to provide instruction to students in grades 6-8. The anticipated leave coverage dates are October 13, 2025 to April 1, 2026. Knowledge of the New York State Learning Standards, effective classroom management techniques, strong instructional skills, and effective teaching strategies are necessary.New York State Spanish 6-8 certification is required.The salary is per the Putnam Valley Federation of Teachers collective bargaining agreement as follows: Bachelor’s Degree: minimum $61,779, midpoint $80,853, maximum $103,364 Master’s Degree: minimum $70,428, midpoint $99,753, maximum $132,484Benefits of joining Putnam Valley Schools:Excellent health, dental, and vision insurance options.
