~ Community Opportunity Resilience Empowerment ~English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher(Long-Term Substitute) November 7, 2025 - December 23, 2025 (Anticipated)The Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated long-term substitute vacancy for a general education English teacher to provide instruction to Middle and High School students.The incumbent will provide ELA instruction to students grades 8 - 11. Courses include 8th grade ELA, 9 grade ELA/Writing, and 11th grade International Baccalaureate (IB) Language and Composition. Effective classroom management techniques, strong instructional skills, and effective teaching strategies are preferred. IB experience helpful.New York State Certification in English 7-12 is preferred. Position is anticipated November 7, 2025 - December 23, 2025.
