School PsychologistLong-term Temporary AssignmentDecember 2025 through March 2026Anticipated 12 weeksThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a long-term school psychologist to support high school students grades 9 through 12. This temporary assignment is anticipated to begin approximately December 2025 through March 2026. (Approximately 12 weeks.)Responsibilities include providing a full range of school psychological services to students in grades 9-12, including screening and assessment, individual and group counseling, consultation with parents/staff. Responsible for chairing CSE meetings, and participation on the Response to Intervention Team. Candidate will function as a member of the multidisciplinary team to determine the student's eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress monitoring.
