Certified Teaching Assistant(s)Anticipated Position(s)The Putnam Valley Central School District has anticipated positions for certified teaching assistants to provide instructional (direct or indirect) services to students under the general supervision of a certified teacher. Support teachers and students with behavior management, instruction review, small group instruction, and classroom procedures. This probationary appointment is anticipated for October 2025.Must be willing to support student toileting needs (stipend available as per CSEA contract $1,250 to $2,250 per year), and physically be willing to support a student to navigate surroundings.Level I, II or III New York State Teaching Assistant Certification required. Experience working with children is also desirable.Salary is as per the CSEA collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Level I - $26,632 - $38,173Level II - $28,851 - $40,032Level III - $33,959 - $46,692Excellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
