Special Education TeacherAnticipated PositionLeave ReplacementSeptember 2025 - June 2026 - 1 YearThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated leave replacement vacancy for a special education teacher to provide special education instruction for second, third and fourth grade students in a small class setting. Teach all content areas, work toward individual IEP (Individualized Education Plan) goals, prepare students for NYS (New York State) exams, complete report cards, and attend CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings.Qualifications: New York State Students with Disabilities 1-6, or Students with Disabilities All Grades certification required.Salary is as per the PVFT collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Bachelor’s Degree: minimum $60,568, midpoint $79,268, maximum $101,337Master’s Degree: minimum $69,047, midpoint $97,797, maximum $129,886Excellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
