The primary role of the senior account clerk is to provide support to the Putnam Valley Central School District Business Office as follows: generate/run special reports; workers compensation insurance processing; maintain ACA reporting; distribution/management of annual clubs/stipends; purchasing; out-of-district contracts, textbook requests; tax collection; review and process BOCES bills; assist with various payroll functions to support the work of the payroll/benefits clerk; billing for services such as damaged laptops, out-of-district student tuition, overdue fees, medicare reimbursement, and other billing support as needed; manage insurance certificates for vendors and contractors; and other duties as needed.Excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent organizational skills are essential. Prior finance experience preferred.This is a New York State Civil Service position.
