Anticipated PositionReading Support TeacherSeptember 2025Probationary PositionThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a reading support teacher to plan and implement targeted reading lessons in the Reading Support (AIS) room for students in grades K-4. Analyze student ELA data to design differentiated reading support lessons, based on progress monitoring, and grade-level benchmarks. Facilitate lessons based on Fundations, Scholastic Literacy, Wilson, and the use of decodable books to support student progress.This anticipated vacancy follows the school calendar, and begins September 2025.Qualifications: New York State Literacy, or Reading certification required.Salary is as per the PVFT collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Bachelor’s Degree: minimum $61,779, midpoint $80,853, maximum $103,364Master’s Degree: minimum $70,428, midpoint $99,753, maximum $132,484.Excellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
