~ Community Opportunity Resilience Empowerment ~Certified Teaching AssistantAnticipated PositionThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a certified teaching assistant to provide instructional (direct or indirect) services to elementary students under the general supervision of a certified teacher. Support teachers and students with behavior management, instruction review, small group instruction, and classroom procedures. This probationary appointment is anticipated for January 2025.Level I, II or III New York State Teaching Assistant Certification preferred. Experience working with children is also desirable. Salary is as per the CSEA collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Level I - $26,110 - $37,424; Level II - $28,285 - $39,247; or Level III - $33,293 - $45,777.Level I, II or III New York State Teaching Assistant Certification preferred.
