School Lunch/Recess MonitorAnticipated PositionPart Time - 11:15 AM - 1:55 PMMonday through FridayThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a school lunch/recess monitor at our elementary school. (Grades K-4) The responsibilities include supervising, monitoring, connecting, and engaging with students during lunch and indoor/outdoor recreation periods throughout the school year; maintaining student safety during play and meal time, attending to any safety concerns and class management; and perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.A high school diploma and experience working with children is desirable.The position follows the school calendar – September through June. Work is completed Monday through Friday, and the anticipated daily hours are: 11:15 AM - 1:55 PM.The CSEA (Civil Service Employees Association) collective bargaining negotiated hourly salary range is $16.85 - $30.62, with annual salary step increases.
