Requirements of Applicants: Valid NYS Certification as a School District Leader or School District Administrator Experience in athletic administration and/or coaching experiencePossess certifications in First Aid, CPR and AEDMasters Degree in teaching preferredThe Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:The supervision of all interscholastic coaches and activities including NYS coaches certification regulations.Making arrangements for and managing all avenues of district athletic programs. (i.e. contest schedules, transportation and facilities requests, athletic physical examinations, preparation of annual athletic budget)Maintaining the academic eligibility policy for all students participating in athletics. Scheduling all required officials, supervisors, security and medical personnel required to conduct secure home athletic events. Coordinating and arranging various district wide athletic clubs and organizations. The Successful Candidate Must Have:Exceptional communication skills.Experience implementing programs that celebrate diversity and recognize the essential role of cultural competency among all in the learning community.Consensus building, strategic and collaborative management skills.
