Port Byron Central School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Jr./Sr. High School Social Studies Teacher (Grades 7–12) to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students explore history, civics, economics, and global perspectives through engaging, relevant instruction that promotes critical thinking, inquiry, and civic engagement. The ideal candidate holds valid New York State Education Department Social Studies certification (or is eligible for certification), demonstrates strong instructional and classroom management skills, and values collaboration, innovation, and relationship-building. Experience with project-based learning, performance-based assessment, and instructional technology is preferred.
