Port Byron Central School District is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Agriculture Teacher to join our growing program. This position will teach grades 7–12 and support our New York State-approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) Agriculture Program. The successful candidate will provide engaging, hands-on instruction in agricultural science, natural resources, agribusiness, and related career pathways while helping students develop college and career readiness skills. Responsibilities include curriculum development, maintaining industry partnerships, supporting student leadership opportunities through FFA, and collaborating with community and post-secondary partners. Qualifications: Valid New York State Agriculture certification (or eligibility) Commitment to experiential, project-based learning Ability to support a comprehensive CTE program and student career exploration Strong communication and collaboration skills Port Byron CSD offers a supportive learning environment, modern agricultural facilities, greenhouse, an active FFA chapter, and strong partnerships that prepare students for future success in agriculture and related industries.
