POSITION: Assistant PrincipalLOCATION: Poland CSDSTART DATE: August 15, 2022Poland Central School District, with an enrollment of approximately 520 students in grades PK through 12, is seeking an educational leader to support curriculum initiatives and student management needs.Successful candidate will meet the following criteria:• Ability to engage and work collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, community members and other stakeholders in support of carrying out the district's mission• Knowledge of NYSED mandates for students and Next Generation Learning Standards• Commitment to student safety and building security• Experience in supervision and evaluation of all personnel, both teaching and non-teaching• Enforce the Code of Conduct as a means of promoting student growth and learning• Knowledge of the Code of Conduct as a means of promoting student growth and learning and the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) and the requirements of the investigatory process• Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills. SALARY/BENEFITS: Per experience and PCS administrative agreementADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1. New York State SAS, SBL, SDA, or SDL administrative certification2. NYS valid Lead Evaluator certification required or attendance at regional training in the first months of employment.3. Strong instructional leadership qualities, as well as the ability to cultivate best practices in the classroom.5.
