JOB REQUIREMENTS:* Thorough knowledge of the tools, materials, methods and practices of one or more major trade areas, such as carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, or high temperature water systems. * Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work* Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions* Skill in the use and care of tools, materials and equipment of the trade.HOURS: 6:30AM - 2:30PMMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Either: (a) Four (4) years of experience in a major craft area to which the incumbent will be assigned plus either two (2) years of experience in the supervision of maintenance activities or an additional two (2) years of experience in any major craft area. NOTE: Completion of vocational education courses in a vocational school program or in an apprentice or training program in one of the craft areas may be substituted for experience up to a maximum of two (2) years. (b) One (1) year as a permanent Maintenance Mechanic III.
