ANTICIPATED OPENING 2026-2027 Special Education Teacher – Part-Time (.6) Resource Room - Elementary Qualifications: - Valid NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2 and Grades 1-6) or Students with Disabilities All Grades. - Experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, related service providers, and families. - Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Knowledge of MTSS, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring. - Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and evidence-based instructional practices. Candidates should demonstrate strong instructional practices and the ability to support students with a range of academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
