ANTICIPATED OPENING 2026-2027 ELEMENTARY TEACHERS-PROBATIONARY Locations: POB MIDDLE SCHOOL & JUDY JACOB PARKWAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Required: - Valid New York State Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) - Bachelor’s degree in education or related field from an accredited college or university - Demonstrated knowledge of the New York State Learning Standards - Strong classroom management and instructional skills - Experience differentiating instruction to support diverse learners, including ENL students and students with IEP’s - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills - Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Preferred: - Master’s degree in education or relevant content area - Experience in data-driven instruction and formative assessment practices - Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom (e.g., Google Workspace for Education, Seesaw, etc.) - Knowledge of SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) frameworks - Experience working collaboratively in grade-level or interdisciplinary teams Start Date: August 31, 2026 Salary: As per teacher contract Deadline to Apply: Friday, April 10, 2026
