ANTICIPATED OPENING 2024-2025FULL TIME REGISTERED NURSE-FLOATER (COMPETITIVE SALARY & BENEFITS)Responsibilities: - Provide basic health care and first aid to students that are ill, medically fragile and/or injured- Provide treatment, documents injuries and maintains medical records- Provide on-going communication with parents regarding injuries, medications, immunizations, allergies, etc.- Administer daily medications- Maintain up to date student records on all students (i.e., physicals and immunizations)- Follow New York State guidelines for immunization compliance- Follow New York State guidelines for vision, hearing, scoliosis screenings and physicals- Gather data and reports findings on New York State immunization and BMI surveys- Respond to all medical emergencies within the building- Participate in 504/CSE meetings when indicated- Must have basic computer skills to document records and maintain communication logs- May attend field trips when medically required- Prior pediatric and/or school experience preferred- Maintain supplies in the health officeRequirements: - Must have a current and active New York State Registered Professional Nurse License- Must be CPR/AED Certified- Must be fingerprinted with the New York State Department of EducationLocation: District Wide Start Date: TBD Hours: 8:05 am – 3:35 pm Salary: As per contract Deadline: Friday, January 10, 2025
