This full time probationary position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching ASL and are committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for middle school students. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality, engaging ASL instruction to middle school students.- Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with the revised NYS World Language Standards.- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the ASL program and contribute to a positive school culture.- Foster a love for ASL and Deaf culture among students.Qualifications: - Must have a valid American Sign Language 7-12 teaching license.- Collaborative, dedicated, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.- Strong commitment to supporting and inspiring students.- Experience in teaching ASL is preferred but not necessary.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Location: H.B.
