Duties: Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Secretary to School Administrator within the Professional Learning Division.Duties include but are not limited to:Corresponding with consultants, facilitators, and college partners;Preparing and reviewing consultant and facilitator contracts;Organizing and coordinating department-related events;Managing calendars, room bookings, workshops, and college program schedules;Communicating with regional school district leaders and higher education partnerships, and related support staff;Making appointments and scheduling meetings;Assisting with the development and review of promotional materials and communications;Managing budget and fiscal-related tasks;Maintaining communication with program registrants and enrollees;Coordinating and collaborating with interdepartmental support staff and department leaders;Maintaining files of both general and confidential information pertinent to the activities of the office;Using computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail, and database software in performing work assignments;Preparing correspondence and reports related to NYSED initiatives or new college partnership programming opportunities;Fielding inquiries from component and non-component districts related to programming and professional learning opportunities.Qualifications: Must qualify through Civil Service.
