Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 1, 2025 through August 11, 2025. Physical Education Teacher candidates are needed to provide instructions to school aged students.  Must have the ability to function as a positive and contributing member of our BOCES team.To begin July 1, 2025 (Only those who can work the full 6-week program and those who are available to attend the ESY Orientation on June 12, 2025 at 3:00 PM need apply).Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Education Department certification in Physical Education.Characteristics Desired: Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities.  Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students.  Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
