Duties:Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Principal to oversee the daily activities and operations within our CTE programs. Main duties include disciplining or advising students, approving teachers' curriculums, and ensuring the school environment is safe for all students and staff members.Qualifications:SBL or School Administrative Certification required.Characteristics Desired:Candidate should possess an understanding of CTE. Preferred candidate should have experience working at a Tech center, possess strong leadership skills, be adept at building relationships with people while being fair and consistent, as well as organized and prepared. Candidate should be an excellent listener and a visionary. Must be a team player and willing to work with the Director of CTE and Executive Principal in molding an evolving program. Can network and build relationships with our various districts and their administrative and guidance teams.
