Duties:Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a full-time Teaching Assistant. Candidate must be able to work with advanced students as well as students with special needs. Candidate must be able to assist in the instruction of Career & Technical Education (CTE) curricula to students enrolled in CTE programs. This appointment will include a 4-year probationary period and lead to a possible recommendation for Tenure.Qualifications:Must be properly certified or working towards the certification by the New York State Education Department to work as a Teaching Assistant.Characteristics Desired:Ability to work with students and staff in a CTE classroom setting and provide clear and accurate assistance to students in the program. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership. Strong background in Auto Mechanics Preferred.Salary Range:$34,328-$49,375To Begin:August 30, 2023
