Duties: Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates a need for a Professional Learning Project Manager within our Center for Educational Leadership. The Project Manager provides support for implementation of professional learning offerings for within the Professional Learning (PL) Division (primarily Center for Educational Leadership and Guidance & Child Study Center), including oversight and development of the PL division databases, oversight of workshop processes, communications with participants, collaboration with PL Division administration, copy editing and marketing of programs using all modalities including social media. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Program/DepartmentAssist to plan, implement, and facilitate identified special partnership projects and eventsAssist with the development, expansion and leadership of college partnership programsDevelop, supervise, and support needs for evening and weekend partnership offeringsDevelop and support the launch and maintenance of new partnership servicesOversee the maintenance and distribution of lists and databases for digital marketingSupporting CEL, GCSC and PL departments when neededCommunicationsMaintains a close working relationship with the PL Division leadershipMaintains a close working relationship with school districts who are involved in professional learning opportunities.Maintains working relationships with the New York State Education Department and all members of liaison committeesQualities: - Must have New York State administrative certification (SAS/SBL, SDA/SDL)- Experience supervising administrative support staff providers preferred - Must possess outstanding facilitation, verbal communication, and writing skills- Experience planning and delivering effective professional development preferred- Must be highly independent, well-organized and exhibit strong planning skills and follow-throughCharacteristics Desired: Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
