Duties: The Supervisor of Building & Grounds at Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES is responsible for scheduling, supervising and participating in all building and grounds maintenance and repair. The Supervisor is responsible for supervising, hiring, training, monitoring, and evaluating a team of experienced specialists. Work collaboratively with the Head Custodial Worker and contractors to ensure work and projects are completed in a timely manner. Assist the Director of Facilities in budgeting, personnel, scheduling, ordering and inventory. Responsible for all building control, security, fire, alternate energy and communications systems. Does related work as required.Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of building and grounds maintenance practices and procedures. Require ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction; willingness to perform annual tasks; thoroughness; dependability; honesty; physical condition commensurate with demands of the position.
