The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a Certified School Psychologist for a full-time probationary position at Pleasantville Middle School. Primary responsibilities are to support students' academic, social, and emotional well-being by conducting assessments, providing counseling, and developing intervention plans. We are seeking candidates with a deep understanding of middle school philosophy and its impact on student development. School Psychologists collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators daily to create supportive learning environments and address students' diverse needs. Additionally, they assist in crisis intervention, special education evaluations, and the implementation of positive behavioral strategies. Candidates must be certified in New York State as a School Psychologist. Preference will be given to individuals who also hold New York State licensure in Psychology and have relevant experience.
