The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a Certified School Psychologist for a full-time probationary position at Pleasantville High School.Primary responsibilities include:Providing evidence-based counseling to students with IEPs and/or Section 504 Plans, and building level counseling needsCompleting psychological evaluations and writing integrated reports to be presented at CSE meetingsConducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and completing Behavior Intervention PlansCreating SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) goals to monitor and track student progressActively collaborating on the development and implementation of student IEPs; review and discuss student issues, profiles, and progress with team members.Chairing CSE meetingsConsulting with teachers, other related service personnel, paraprofessionals, families, and outside providers to review and discuss student progressParticipating in Child Support Team meetings to identify and plan for students who may need additional supportsIntervening and counseling students on demand and in crisis situationsJoining district-wide psychology didactics and DBT consultation teamOther responsibilities as assignedCandidates must be certified in New York State as a School Psychologist.
