The Peru Central School District expects to appoint three (3) individuals to the following position for the 2023 - 2024 school year:1.0 FTE Teaching Assistant (TA)Anticipated Assignment:One (1) for K–Post Grade in a 12:1:3:1 ClassroomOne (1) for 4th/5th Grade in a 15:1 Classroom One (1) for the K/1st Grade in a 12:1:1 ClassroomResponsibilities May Include:Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiencesProvide student support and accommodate students’ individual academic, social, physical and behavioral needs while working under the direction of teachers and therapistsWork collaboratively on instructional teams along with all student support service personnel and nursing personnelAssist with basic life skills, hygiene and toiletingAssist with attendance and record keepingOther duties per contractCompensation: $25,640 - $47,354, commensurate with qualifications and experience
