The district is well known for its high academic performance and outstanding support from parents and the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working collaboratively with the Superintendent, building administration, Union leadership, and school district community to effectively maintain business functions including payroll, benefits, accounting, budgeting, purchasing, cash management, and financial reporting. In addition, this position oversees the Buildings and Grounds Department, Transportation, and Food Services.The Pearl River School District is in Rockland County, NY, approximately 20 miles north of NYC and serves approximately 2,300 students (including out-of-district placements).
