Middle School Reading TeacherPort Chester Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified Middle School Reading Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping students improve their reading skills and achieve academic success.Responsibilities:Provide targeted Tier II and/or Tier III reading instruction to students in small group and/or individual settings.Deliver reading intervention using research-based and systematic programs.Utilize various instructional strategies to improve students' reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary, based on data.Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans to meet diverse student needs.Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create comprehensive learning plans.Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and administration.Qualifications:Valid New York State Teaching Certification in ReadingExperience providing reading intervention to middle school students.Knowledge of research-based reading programs and strategies.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to analyze data and adjust instruction to meet student needs.
