ANTICIPATED COACHING POSITIONS 2026- 2027 POSTING NUMBER: C-1- 26/27 APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 18, 2026 ANTICIPATED POSITIONS: Fall Season: Cross Country – PMHS Girls’ Varsity Head Coach Football - District Middle School Assistant Coach Soccer – Saxton Middle School Girls’ Head Coach Cheerleading – District Middle School Head Coach Winter Season: Basketball – PMHS Girls’ Junior Varsity Head Coach Indoor Track – PMHS Girls’ Varsity Head Coach Indoor Track – PMHS Girls’ Varsity Assistant Coach Cheerleading – District Middle School Head Coach Spring Season : Flag Football - PMHS Girls’ Varsity Assistant Coach Lacrosse – PMHS Girls’ Varsity Assistant Coach Softball – South Ocean Girls’ Softball Head Coach Track and Field – PMHS Girls’ Varsity Head Coach Track and Field – PMHS Girls’ Varsity Assistant Coach QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Fingerprint clearance from NYS Department of Education (NYSED) Current First Aid Certification Current CPR/AED Certification Current Concussion Training Certification Physical Education Certification or Coaching Certification in the sport QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Valid New York State Teaching Certification Previous successful experience in a public-school setting JOB SUMMARY: To carry out the aims and objectives of the sport program as outlined by the head coach in conjunction with the Director of Athletics and building principal(s). To instruct student-athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategies and physical training necessary to realize a high degree of individual and team success. To achieve a balance between continued team and player development, while striving for victory are the goals of the middle school coach. The coach is encouraged to attend clinics, workshops and courses to keep abreast of new sport concepts, rules, techniques and regulations. Other responsibilities as designated by the athletic director and/or building administration.
