RESPONSIBILITIES: Support teachers, staff and district administrators with the use of specialized software applications Support parent and guardian access to parent portal, student portal and mass communication applications Works within the District Technology ticketing system to assist teacher use of our student information systems Creates and produces materials to assist all District employees in the use of applications Provides training to District staff and parents as needed Works with District administrators to ensure eSchool is meeting their needs Manipulates, configures and utilzes eSchool to support attendance gradebooks, report cards, transcripts, scheduling and day to day tasks required within school district Stays up to date with new features and proposed features of District approved applications Ability to manipulate data exported from applications to provide information to stakeholders Other duties as assigned by the Administrator of Technology LOCATION: Technology Department HOURS: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Job Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must meet Civil Service Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OPEN COMPETITIVE (a) Graduation from a college with federally-authorized accreditation or registration by NY State with an Associate's Degree in a field related to office information systems and technologies, and two (2) years of experience in the utilization of software to create or design specialized forms, reports or models; or, (b) Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and four (4) years of experience in the utilization of software to create or design specialized forms, reports or models; or, (c) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).
