Orange-Ulster BOCES is currently seeking an anticipated full-time Animal Science Teacher to join the Career and Technical Division. This position is effective February 1, 2024 and will follow the school calendar and a Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 pm schedule. The Animal Science teacher will provide students with theory and practical instruction in animal care and management, safety and sanitation, anatomy and physiology of various species, animal first aid and CPR, wildlife science and zoology. The teacher will prepare students with meaningful and relevant experiential learning opportunities as they pursue post-secondary pathways in veterinarian medicine, animal science, wildlife biology, or zoology.
