Orange-Ulster BOCES is seeking applicants for Summer School Substitute Teachers in the Division of Instructional Support Services (ISS). ISS employs a dynamic team of educators that work to bring the best to all students, educators, and families in the Orange-Ulster BOCES service region.Substitute teachers will serve in the absence of teachers of our innovative summer enrichment programs for middle school students. Substitute teachers may be asked to work with students on special enrichment projects. Some courses are in-person and some are distance-learning formats. Strong creative and technical skills are required. Experience working in educational settings is preferred. (Those serving successfully during the summer will be asked to continue during the school year.)
