We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students in our Extended School Year summer program. This six-week opportunity is designed to help students continue learning and skill development in a supportive, interactive, and creative environment. Program Dates:July 8 – All Staff Orientation July 9 – Additional Staff Orientation (Teachers, Related Service Providers, and Nurses only) July 13 – August 21 – Student SessionStaff Hours (Student Session): 8:15 AM – 2:45 PMStudent Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM Teaching Assistants will:Support classroom instruction and student engagementAssist with individualized learning activitiesEncourage positive student interactions and skill developmentHelp maintain a structured and supportive learning environmentCollaborate with teachers and program staffIdeal candidates will:Have experience working with children or students (preferred but not required)Demonstrate patience, positivity, and a passion for student successWork collaboratively as part of a teamSupport diverse learning needsHelp create a fun and engaging summer learning environmentOrientation will be provided to ensure all staff are prepared and confident in their roles.Internal candidates may follow the process that the Exceptional Education office set forth through expressing interest via the Google Survey sent out and therefore do not need to submit an application to the HR office.
