CiTi BOCES is looking for a skilled tradesperson or technician to teach Intro to Hand Tools and Blueprint Design. This course introduces students to fundamental tools and the basics of interpreting and creating technical drawings.Responsibilities:Instruct students in the proper use of common hand toolsTeach basic concepts of blueprint reading and designOversee hands-on tool application projectsFoster a safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning environmentDevelop an authentic culminating project where students create and interpret a blueprint and build a basic structure or prototype using hand toolsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge of mechanical hand tools and their applicationsExperience with blueprint reading, drafting, or CADBackground in construction, manufacturing, or engineering techClear and patient instructional style Experience in education or workforce training is preferredProgram Duration: 6 Weeks Location: CiTi BOCES, Mexico Campus Time/Days of the Week: TBD by InstructorStipend: $6,000
