This is a full-time position in Career & Technical Education Advantage Program. Position includes (but is not limited to):Teach semester-block scheduled ELA 9 - 12 classes, including mixed grade levels 9/10, 11/12, and NYS ELA regentsPrepare students for success on the NYS ELA regents examDesign and implement hands-on and project-based learning strategiesPromote career readiness though a focus on technical reading/writing skillsProvide learning lab support in ELA/Social Studies content areas, as well as credit recovery in a variety of academic areasCollaborate with colleagues to develop authentic learning experiences for students Participate in program-wide PLC & MTSS Requirements:NYS certified ELA 9-12 teacherCTE experience preferred
