The WBL Coach will work under the supervision of the Career & Technical Education administration to support students to successfully transition from the classroom to internships and/or employment. The WBL Coach will have a working knowledge of Career & Technical Education, NYSED work-based learning guidelines, employability skills and non-traditional support for student success. Successful collaboration with the Business-Education Liaison and WBL Coordinator will be required. This is a 10-month position is funded through 2022-2023 Perkins V grant. Certification required for this position is negotiable depending on business/industry experience and knowledge. Salary commensurate with experience and certification. Certifications and/or experience preferred: CTE teacher certification(any discipline)NYS certified teaching assistant with business/industry backgroundWork-based Learning certificationExtensive business/industry background/knowledge
