Position: Athletic TrainerLocation: Ossining School DistrictPosition Type: Full Time, 10 Months, Confidential positionStart Date: August 22, 2025Position Overview:Ossining School District is seeking a certified and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our athletics department. The Athletic Trainer will provide exceptional care for student-athletes by preventing, assessing, treating, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries. This individual will work closely with coaches, athletes, and medical professionals to ensure a safe and effective environment for our sports programs.Key Responsibilities:Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services for student-athletes.Maintain accurate medical records and injury documentation.Coordinate with physicians and healthcare professionals on injury management and return-to-play decisions.Attend practices, games, and team events as assigned.Assist in planning and implementing conditioning and injury prevention programs.Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper care of athletic training equipment.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred).Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in New York StateCPR/AED and First Aid certification.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Previous experience working with high school or collegiate athletes preferred.
