This position focuses on creating a warm & welcoming environment for parents in the Ossining School District.Assist with the parent resource center program that focuses on adult engagement and connectedness.Plans ongoing workshops, training, and seminars for parents in collaboration with school personnel.Coordinates ongoing communication with our Ossining community around programming and events.Maintains ongoing contact with community organizations that are involved with providing services to the school’s educational program.Connects with and supports Ossining new families.Provides parents with information regarding the availability of school district and community resources and services.Alerts families and school representatives to community meetings of special interest.Provides ongoing technical support to families.Assist with yearly needs assessments to determine OUFSD adult needs.Supports and promotes Ossining Prime, a community school resource hub.Support with additional tasks that are appropriate.Works collaboratively with the OUFSD community school leader & building administrators.Teaching Assistant certification is required.
